Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Hia. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
The service
Hia is software that helps independent practitioners manage enquiries, bookings, sessions, content, ads and payments, with an AI assistant. You remain responsible for your practice, your clients, your professional judgment, and for reviewing what Hia prepares. Hia does not provide medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and AI-prepared notes, summaries and drafts can be wrong.
Your account
You must give accurate details, keep your sign-in secure, and be authorised to run the practice you set up. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Your clients' data
You decide how your clients' data is used and you are responsible for having the consents, notices and professional-confidentiality arrangements the law and your profession require. Hia processes that data on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy.
Connected accounts
Connect only accounts you are authorised to use. Third-party platforms (Meta, including Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Meta Ads; Google; LinkedIn; Razorpay; OpenAI) have their own terms and policies that apply to your use of them through Hia, including messaging windows, advertising policies and fees. Their charges (for example ad spend and payment fees) are billed to you by them, not by Hia. You can disconnect any account at any time.
Meta and other platforms
- You are responsible for everything done through your account, and for the Instagram, Facebook, Threads and ad accounts you connect: who has access to them and what is published, sent or spent through them.
- You must follow the terms, policies and content and advertising rules of Meta and of every other platform you connect, including messaging windows, restrictions on health-related content and on how people may be contacted.
- You can revoke a Meta connection at any time, in Hia (Integrations, Disconnect) or in your Meta settings. Hia then stops using it.
- Hia may suspend or disconnect an integration that is being used abusively, breaks a platform's rules, or puts other practices or people at risk.
- We cannot guarantee that Meta or any other third-party platform stays available, keeps a feature or permission, or accepts your account. When a platform limits or removes something, the Hia feature that depends on it stops too.
- Hia is not made, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Meta. Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, Threads and Meta are trademarks of their owners.
- Clinical and professional decisions, and what you say to your clients, remain yours. Hia keeps sensitive client conversations inside Hia and blocks health details and private links from going over Instagram and Messenger, but you remain responsible for how you communicate with clients.
- Ad spend is yours. Hia creates campaigns paused and asks for your approval before anything that spends money, and Meta bills you directly.
Approvals and automation
Hia asks you before it sends, publishes or spends money for you, unless you switch a type of action to automatic. You are responsible for what you approve or set to automatic.
Payments
Hia is not a payment processor or merchant of record for your clients' payments. Those go through your own payment provider account; Hia only creates payment links and verifies their status. Hia's own subscription fees, if any, are charged through our payment partner.
Acceptable use
Do not use Hia to send spam, to message people who have not agreed to hear from you where consent is required, to publish unlawful or misleading content, to attempt to access other practices' data, or to break any platform's rules.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Hia available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or the availability of third-party platforms. To the extent the law allows, Hia is provided “as is” and our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous three months.
Ending your account
You can stop using Hia and ask us to delete your practice at any time (see data deletion). We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (for example liability) will.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will post changes here with a new date and tell you in the app about material ones.
